even though i grew up in nyc, i never heard of the high line before last year, when i saw this video. i was intrigued, charmed, and determined to see it the next time i was in the city.

this is the first time i have ever seen a tree like this

 some sort of witch hazel

 there were many beautiful sparrows

here and throughout nyc

 darling, how i wished you were here with me

you would have loved walking along the park. 

i felt to the bone
